Q.  I know that checkout
is at noon but I'd like to
stay a little longer...can I
do that?
A.  Sure, as long as the site is

a Campstore Clerk to check.
Then pre-pay the total due.
The rate is$5 per hour.
(Sorry, no late check-outs or
early arrivals for cabins.)
Q.  Can you hold a site and
I'll
pay when I get there?
A.  Unfortunately, you'll need to
pay a predetermined amount at
time of reservation. We accept
cash, Visa or Mastercard. (We do
not accept checks and all credit
cards are processed immediately.)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You asked...so here's the answers to
the most frequently asked questions!
Q.  Can I put an extra tent on my
site for my "stuff"?
A.  To ensure our max. of 6 people per site, we
only allow one tent or RV.  But you can put your
"stuff" under a screened tent or canopy.

However, if you have 2 tents because you have a
large family-- ask about a double site discount.
Q.  How much firewood can I bring?
A.  Actually all firewood must be purchased at the
park.  Any incoming firewood will be confiscated.

The PA Dept. of Forestry has recommended
eliminating transportation of firewood to reduce
the likelihood of the Border Ash Bug that kills
our trees.
Q.  Can I choose my site?
A.  We will try our best to
ensure site requests. However,
we can't guarantee them in
case of unforeseen issues.

This is also why we
don't give site #'s
until arrival.

Q.  How will I know what

activities are happening
during my stay?
A.  You will receive the current
activity schedule in your check-in
packet. It's also posted on boards
inside the park. The schedule will
let you know when & where you
can go to visit Yogi Bear
TM.

Q.  Can I bring my pets?
A.  Pets are welcome on all
campsites, as long as they are not
aggressive or exotic & all policies
are followed.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed
in or around cabin sites.
Q.  Can I bring my own golf cart?
A.  Golf carts are limited to park staff and seasonal campers.
Any child or adult motorized cars, carts, bikes, or scooters
(other than for disabilities) are also prohibited.
Q.  Is there wi-fi available at my site ?
A.  We are a wi-fi hot spot. That simply means
that we don't own the wi-fi, we just allow a local
provider to have it here. So, you pay them direct
by credit card when logging on.

Wi-fi is not available at all sites so be sure to
request a "wi-fi site" at reservation if needed.
Q.  Are there still activities in the
Fall and Spring?  Midweek?
A.   The fun activities last all season at our park.
However, the schedule is limited during these
times due to weather, school events, work
schedules, & college staff. This is why you pay a
discounted rate during Spring & Fall & Midweek.
Q.  Do you have bears?
A.  Camping is an outdoor
experience and it is possible
that you may encounter
         deer, geese, skunk,
            chipmunk, squirrel,
               bear, racoon, etc.
Q.  Why did the website show
different cabins & amenities ?
A.  Many times folks are confused by
the
campjellystone.com website...
please understand that it is a
compilation of photos and info of
all  70 Jellystone Parks and does
not represent any individual park
specifically.

(Or sometimes folks are simply
on another park's site.)
Q.  Can my friends &
family come to
visit?
A.  Feel free to have guests during
your stay. But PLEASE make sure
they know the visitor fees &
policies in advance.

All visitors:
Q.  Why do my guests have to pay to visit?
A.   Most folks don't realize the costs associated with toilet
paper, pool chlorine, road stone, free activities, etc. Also-
since we schedule staff and plan activities based on
reservations, visitor fees help cover their extra costs.
Q.  If  I leave early will I get a refund?
A.  Other campers are turned away so that we
may hold a site for you. Therefore, we must
enforce our cancellation policies regardless of
circumstances. Please review these policies
(
click here) thoroughly before reserving. Once
you've checked into the campground there are
no refunds or credits, no matter the reason.
Q.  Why are all the parks so different?
A.   Each park is individually owned & operated,
some are corporate owners & some by individuals.
For those established parks, it took great
customers returning & supporting them to get
from 3 to 30 years. Please "bear" with us as we
take time incorporating big plans for our park.
* may not enter prior to
9 am or after 7 pm
* must register at store prior
to entering park
* may not bring their pets
* day visitors must exit by
9 pm and overnite's
   must leave by noon.

NOTICE:

The Game Room is
currently out of service due
to an unexpected  accident!
Please "bear" with us until
it is either repaired or
replaced.
Q.  Is there anything else I
should know before I arrive?
A.  Please understand that all
campers (regardless of age) are
required to wear a wristband
during their entire stay.
Q.  Why do I need to give my email address?
A.  In this age of technology, all camping confirmations are
sent via e-mail. Occasionally we may send you a coupon
(afterall, who doesn't love a deal)!  Rest assured that we do
not sell or distribute email addresses.
Q.  What should I do if I encounter a
problem?
A.  Although we sincerely hope that each guest
has a pleasant stay, we understand that there
may occasionally be issues. Should you have a
concern or problem, PLEASE discuss the issue
with a manager as soon as possible. Afterall, if
we don't know about it, we ' fix it.
Q.  Why are a valid Visa or
Mastercard and i.d. required for a
cabin check-in?
A.   We do so rather than collect a separate
security deposit in case of damages. Also keep
in mind that hefty fines apply for pets and/or
smoking in cabins.
It is also important to
know that there is a $25
fine for moving firepits.

Why? To help preserve
our campsites. You
wouldn't want to rent a
site with lots of burn
      marks and ash
     around would you?
